My name is David, and with 30 years experience as a guitar teacher I can help you to learn to play the music you love, all from the comfort of your home.
I use accelerated learning techniques to help you improve quickly, while keeping things fun and interesting.
I believe whatever level you're at I can help you get better, from getting started strumming to Jazz improvisation theory.
I started on acoustic guitar aged 16, then playing rock on electric guitar, before moving on to an 'A' Level on classical guitar and a degree level course in Jazz, Pop and Commercial Music. I also love fingerpicking of all styles.
I enjoy teaching songwriting and music theory if you're interested. I've also helped people to prepare for GCSE and 'A' Level instrumental exams and for Registry of Guitar Tutors exams up to grade 8.
The first step is for us to have a discussion about what you want from guitar lessons, so feel free to call me for a chat, and if you decide to go ahead I'll use the music you love to design a course that's tailored to your exact needs.
Lesson rates are £25 per hour, and there is a discount for block booking.
